Arie has made the move to California and his new home track is Apex, located in Perris, California!! Arie will continue with the Mini-Max class. Arie uses a Trackmagic chassis with sponsorship from Vegas Style Motorsports and Motul. The Mini-Max class uses a Rotax 125cc engine with an intake and exhaust restrictor. In his first full year of karting he finished 3rd in points in the Kid Kart class (50cc engines) as a rookie behind the National Champion and California State Champion.
